I can't do the math for the life of me, but I'm generally pretty good with the concepts. But I can't make heads or tails of this one. Anybody want to take a crack at it? arxiv.org/pdf/nlin.AO/0408043

I'm not impressed. There are some clear Bad Signs, such as the fact that the author never refers to the existing body of literature on chaos theory. I'd have to see his one significant published reference, to which he refers over and over again to see if this should be taken seriously, but my bet is no. There's a lot of hand-waving and Important Implications In Italics all over the place, too, and some truly sophomoric pseudo-math terminology (e.g. matter and anti-matter branches, cosmic kitchens, etc.).

Obsessed amateur on a collision course with reality, would be my guess. He probably thinks he's Unjustly Ignored.
